Welcome to Ivy Class, our nurturing resourced provision at Stanton Road Primary School. We are incredibly proud to provide a safe, calm, and supportive environment where we celebrate every child’s unique learning journey and help them thrive.
Tailored Core Learning
We know that every child learns differently. In Ivy Class, our teaching of Reading, Writing, Maths, and Grammar is highly personalised. We carefully tailor these core subjects to your child’s specific starting points and individual needs, ensuring they build confidence, feel successful, and make meaningful progress every single day.
Growing with the Mainstream
We believe in the power of shared experiences and community. Ivy Class provides carefully supported opportunities for our children to spend time learning in the mainstream classrooms. This allows them to gently experience and manage the sensory demands of a larger class, but under conditions and at a pace that serve them best.
Our children have the flexibility to move smoothly in and out of mainstream learning when it is right for them. Crucially, Ivy Class pupils will always remain a core part of their chronological year group, joining their wider peers for all of our enriching assemblies, experiences, and school trips—including our Stone Age and Roman workshops, Bebington Village fieldwork, and our visit to the Lady Lever Art Gallery!
